I purchased this camera because I was done with charging and changing batteries of other camera brands. I use it to check on my pets and the listening and voice settings allow me to hear and comfort them - when the Amazon Driver is dropping other packages…but don’t tell my husband (LOL). Night vision and 360 direction allows me to move the camera around as they move vs other brands that just cover on angle. Also allows me turn-around so camera faces away from the living area if you are worried about others watching…which attached to your secure server it is super safe but for those who worry you have the option. Lightweight and runs from my phone. Voice directed set-up and great instructions it was up and running in mins. Also love the option to a sd card to tape footage if you like and watch back later, no additional service fee to do so. Great product - would have expected to pay more for such quality.We've only just installed 1 of 2 that we just bought but so far here is my opinion.PROS:I really like the camera quality. There are 3 settings to choose from, HD, SD, and Smooth.Easy to connect to wifi.You control the movement of the camera through the app.You can talk through the app to the device when not there and also hear what's going on.Playback feature let's you see things on the app that recently happened without the SD card.Multiple phones can download the app and view the cameras at the same time. (So far we've only tried 2 but it worked)Price was affordable.CONS:Had some issues getting the SD card to show that it was inserted. The quick guide says to power off before inserting and we also had to format it on the computer first, but even then we have one camera that took multiple tries for it to read that the SD card was in there. At this point it's not recording but the other camera is.When my husband (who is an experienced craftsman and knows how to install things) went to install one of the cameras the top of the screw broke off. Then the plastic bolt that's suppose to hold it in place snapped in half. So my advice is to go easy when installing it unless they upgrade to more reliable parts. For now, we only have one installed and are needing to go get more parts to install the other.I haven't figured out how to get notifications when motion is detected or how to adjust that sensitivity. I sent an email so we will see how well customer service responds.All in all, I'm happy with these cameras. We've already been able to watch one of our cats play while we weren't home which was fun in itself.This was the cheapest I could find and the quality was excellent. Through the app there is a delay in the picture feed, which is expected. The night vision quality was often better than the regular color vision, but the color picture was still relatively clear.Alert system: scared the living tar out of me on the first night. It is very sensitive to movement, but unfortunately I couldn't control my cat's movement when having her penned in. What I ended up doing wasmuting the alert on the camera itself, but keeping the notifications on on my phone. I'd wake up to like 10 of them.Speaker: speaking through the phone, the speaker was loud and clear. But you have to hold the button down for a few seconds after your done talking in order for your voice to come through. As for hearing what the camera picks up on, it's very quiet.Small and exquisite, the video transmission speed is a bit slow, and the voice on the other end of the video cannot be heard on the phone at all! Only for watching videos.I have a cat with HCM and he recently had a seizure. I needed a way to monitor him even when I wasn't around to make sure that he is OK and that the seizure was an isolated incident. This item is perfect for my needs.Overall it’s a decent camera for the price it also was very easy to install but I did not like that it did not specify that it did not come with an SD card that you have to buy separately. Also I have it set to alert any sort of motion and it sometimes notifies me and sometimes does notI like this camera for its price. The picture is pretty clear and the connection is great. I was able to check it while traveling in Mexico. I wish it had more downward visibility but other than that it’s perfect.I was looking at higher quality cameras that you have to pay a monthly charge on, then I found this! It connects straight to your wifi (does not support 5G wifi) and I get great picture quality. The playback feature is great as well, but you do need a memory card to use that feature. You can also set an "alarm" that will notify you on your phone when movement is detected. You can set a time on that (for us, I set it from the time we will be gone for work/school until we are all home for the day). Overall, it's a great purchase and puts this single working momma's mind at ease. I'm looking into getting one for outside as well.
