I like how feels in hands this hace good buildI love my camera cage! Amazing quality and so many cool features! The sturdiness and modular design are the cornerstone of this cage. Tilta has many options for power, storage, and various rigging options. Once fully rigged up, it adds some heft and gives the BMPCC that solid feel finally.It's a little more expensive than the other cages available, but overall I feel it has the most accessories for rigging however you desire and great overall quality. You won't be disappointed.Would have given 5 stars if the bottom mount was an actual Arca Swiss plate vs. a knock off oversized proprietary one only meant to fit their baseplate. Sometimes it would be nice to easily through on a my tripod for static shots.I'm new to the entire film making universe, but this cage eliminates the validity of the only 2 complaints anyone has about the Blackmagic Pocket cam. The weight and sturdiness helps a TON with stabilization, and I personally haven't used the F550 battery handle yet, but I trust everyone else's praises of how this solves the low battery life of the LP-6 inside the camera.Great cage for the price! The only thing I would recommend is to check your screws and tighten them as much as you can because when you build a rig on it. Screws will get lose!I purchased this because I liked that it had a battery holder in the handle. Unfortunately, cage is under-built, considering the price. After only a few month's of light use, the pin that locks it to a baseplate is already going bad, the thumbwheel that tightens the battery compartment is hit-or-miss as to whether it stays tightened, I had to replace the bolt on the handle because the one that came with it stopped "gripping" and I couldn't attach the handle to the body. Most unforgiveable, the overall build is starting to go. The cage is starting to flex and squeak and as you probably know, hearing the cage squeak on your audio track is a bad thing.Also keep in mind that in addition to the cost of the cage, you'll probably also wind up purchasing accessories that could easily increase the total cost to $700-800+.I've used it mostly on a tripod and always in a studio environment (meaning, I've never used it for run-and-gun shooting) and I transport all my gear in Pelican cases. So the fact that it's degraded this badly this quickly doesn't inspire confidence that it will hold up under more intensive use.Not much else to say. It's an awesome cage! No fitment issues at all! Everything lines up and feels solid. No loose fitments or mismatched pieces that I've seen with other similar products. Would definitely recommend for the pocket 4K!Buena calidadLove this cage.
