Update: reply from Boifun admin regarding motion detection range: "The technical specification of motion detection range for this camera is about 7-8 meters. So your camera works properly." I measured, mine is detecting up to 22ft. Was guessing at distance before.Update: on highest sensitivity it is only capturing motion around 13 ft away or less - night or day. At night, light comes on at that distance. Is mounted about 7 ft off the ground, tilted slightly downward - unobstructed field of view. Also getting a loud burst of sound like something crashing on video clips sometimes. Camera not performing as well as others are saying.Fairly easy to set up, holds battery charge well. Images are pretty good but blurry if zoomed in. The Human Detection feature is misleading - if turned on, it only sees the human - ignores vehicle as it moved into target area. If turned off (to include humans and other forms) motion detection and recording of person or vehicle is not always captured as it enters the alarm target area - sometimes starts recording after subject has passed out of the target area and the video has nothing to see. Have worked with different settings, trying to avoid false alerts for tree limb movement etc. Not getting the level of reliable motion detection/recording I was hoping for.I did not expect this camera unit to be as robust as it is. It encompasses in it quite a bit of technological and security features such as night vision and even has cloud support. I decided to replace my branded camera with this beast, with great results. My original camera provided much lower resolution, had very little in the way of features and no real mechanical panning and zooming, which is important to me. Interestingly, my original branded camera cost almost as much as this one without having most of the features available. My only gripe is the lack of thorough instructions, which has not been necessary for me due to a very intuitive setup. It uses CloudEdge (Free) network and app for monitoring, available on all popular platforms such as Android and iPhone, I even got it to work on my MacBook (images provided) via android virtualization app (Free), this is also possible under Windows. CloudEdge free app is very easy to setup and use, both on mobile and desktop platforms (they look the same on both). It has motion activation and notification feature which uses push notification protocols. The camera unit itself can be a assigned for various locations, if you have more than one. You can even flip the image upside down if you want to use the camera as a standing (rather than hanging) unit! The resolution of the video is full HD, I think 1080p at least. The solar panel charges the unit from zero quite rapidly and the camera can run exclusively off that power, even on rainy days because it has a massive 15,000 mAh buld-in battery which lasts for a few days even without any power connection. Which makes this camera system especially effective for outside use with no additional wiring. You can basically place this thing anywhere, regardless of accessibility to a power source. Most other security cameras I have used before have limited battery capacity which means they would lose power on overcast days when they can't gain enough charge via a solar panel and lack the battery capacity necessary to operate without continuous charge. So, overall, this is definitely a strong buy, especially for this price. Highly recommended.I had a ring camera that kept breaking on my porch. Was looking for a replacement and tried this one. This is exactly what I was looking for, high definition camera that allows you to talk to the person you are watching, and listen to them. They have infrared for night viewing / recording, the night image has a very good quality. This camera improves on their previous ones by allowing you to pan the image left, right, up and down. It has SD and HD video settings. It connects using your 2.4 Gz Wifi. Setup is very easy. The camera gives you clear instructions as to what to do so you can not make a mistake. It also comes with written instructions but these are really not needed. intuitive and allows you to configure the camera settings to your liking. The camera has a SD slot for a SD of up to 128 GB. Plenty of room for hours of recording. It records at intervals that you set and is has motion sensing capabilities so that you don't waste SD space nor battery power recording useless video. It quickly pans 360 degrees, and it tilts up and down nicely as well. You can switch between SD or HD. Initially it was in SD mode, and I thought it looked a little blurry, but once I switch to HD the change was dramatic.Overall I am very happy with this security camera and I highly recommend it.I purchased different camera for my property then a year later came across this camera and decided to try it and fell in love. It does everything I’ve been looking for and the quality is amazing for the night vision and picture quality. I love that I can move the camera at 360 degrees and that it has an alarm to scare off anyone trying to sneak on my property. By far the best camera out there.La telecamera, ordinata Domenica pomeriggio e Lunedì mattina consegnata puntualmente dalcorriere Amazon, viene presentata in una confezione estremamente curata, dove al suo interno ci sono: il pannello solare, comprensivo di supporto e viti per il fissaggio, la telecamera, il cavo lungo per la ricarica e delle brevi istruzioni per la “messa in opera”, istruzioni che si possono trovare in internet, utilizzando il QR code indicato.Conoscendo già la marca (ho acquistato esattamente un anno fa un’altra telecamera wireless, con ottimi risultati), ho deciso di prenderne questa per non avere più la preoccupazione di doverla caricare con la presa elettrica.All’apertura della confezione, troviamo subito il pannello solare e sotto la telecamera, a mio avviso robusta e ben curata nella sua progettazione.Come per la precedente, l’installazione è stata abbastanza semplice, in quanto si viene guidati passo passo anche in lingua italiana, ed in pochi minuti la telecamera è attiva.Splendide le immagini di giorno, perché è incrementata la risoluzione HD a 2K, ottime anche al buio perché supportate dal fatto che volendo possono entrare in funzione due potenti luci led che illuminando ilsoggetto, permettono una visione a colori.Buona la visione anche in bianco e nero con gli infrared che entrano in funzione quando tutto buio.Altra chicca è stata quella di installare nella telecamera anche una sirena (abbastanza udibile) che all’occorrenza - ovviamente se si decide di impostarla - entra in funzione, rendendola assolutamente completa avendo inoltre la possibilità di ruotarla di 360 gradi, gestendola da remoto attraverso il programma, semplice ma completo CloudEdge.Viene data inoltre la possibilità di registrare tutto quello che passa davanti all’occhio elettronico, registrandosi al cloud (a pagamento), oppure inserendo nel corpo della telecamera, una scheda di memoria (non compresa nella confezione).A fronte di quanto indicato, tutte qualità a mio avviso positive, devo anche precisare che per mia sfortuna, ho dovuto avviare la procedura di reso perché lasciando la telecamera in carica per circa 12 ore (la prima volta deve essere collegata ad una presa di corrente), provando due diversi cavi e due diversi caricatori, la percentuale rimaneva sempre all’ 1%, non utilizzabile quindi allo scopo per cui era stata acquistata.La nota dolente di tutto questo è stato il comportamento del venditore che si è inizialmente prodigato per assicurarmi che la problematica, grazie alle sue istruzioni, sarebbe stata risolta ma che a “conti fatti” è completamente sparito, da diversi giorni, sebbene i numerosi solleciti inviati (faccio presente che le prime email inviate / ricevute erano quasi in “real time”).Quindi, a fronte delle prove fatte, mi sento di dare 4 stelle (non posso dare 5 per il problema batteria, comprendo però’ che talvolta un difetto può succedere) alla telecamera e 1 stella al comportamento del venditore che sicuramente non giova ad una pubblicità positiva al suo marchio.Mi riserverò comunque di aggiornare, la mia recensione nel qual caso, il venditore dovesse nuovamente contattarmi o a confermare quanto già indicato.Ottimo prodotto, ricezione nitida sia diurna che notturna, unica pecca, non di poca importanza, il raggio di azione a 360' si aziona solo manualmente dall'app. non è automatico quindi l'impostazione dell'area di allarme è inutile perché se l'intruso non passa davanti alla telecamera non viene rilevato. Sulle istruzioni l'area di allarme non è menzionata x come impostarla e quindi bisogna arrangiarsi da soli, Il servizio assistenza è molto disponibile ma poco risolutivo. X questi motivi non metto 5 stelle, se il servizio assistenza mi risolverà il problema cambierò la mia ricezione.A 24hr dall'installazione posso dire che il prodotto è di buona qualità : la connessione con le due reti domestiche è stata veloce ed intuitiva anche grazie alle istruzioni dell'app che accompagnano passo per passo, in italiano. Il montaggio è stato semplice , il monitoraggio è efficace ed il menu denso di opzioni attivabili o disattivabili in maniera semplice e molto friendly-user.La visione in low definition è più che buona , volendo si può settare in HD con un ovvio rallentamento del rate e conseguente " ciucciamento" della batterie dello smartphone. In default l'app rimane attiva in background , anche in questo caso il "ciucciamento" si incrementa non di poco , basta saperlo. Le notifiche sono rapide e rilevano solo umanoidi , non si attiva per foglie o panni al vento , animali.Tra 3/4 mesi aggiornerò la recensione solo in caso vi saranno dei problemi , in caso contrario non aggiornerò nulla.P.S. mi piacerebbe capire perchè il 90% delle recensioni italiane recensiscono anche " consegna Amazon veloce" che nulla a a che vedere con la recensione del prodotto . Magari evitate di mettere un alto numero di stelle per questo , se il prodotto è mediocre...
